This beautifully restored Victorian treasure is a small luxury hotel near the V&A, Natural History Museum and many of London's most popular museums. It is also well located for Harrods and shopping in Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Chelsea and the Kings Road. With South Kensington tube station just across the street, all of London is within easy reach

With its own Mediterranean restaurant and just a minute’s walk from South Kensington Underground Station, The Ampersand is a cosmopolitan hotel set in a large Victorian building. The hotel also has a gym and games room.

The pillared foyer has a grand staircase lit by an elegant cascading chandelier. The downstairs bar area gives a sophisticated urban feel with its exposed brick arches, and a patisserie menu is available in the hotel’s drawing rooms.

Bedrooms at The Ampersand are individually decorated with bold contemporary wallpaper designs and original Victorian features. Each room has a minibar, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and an en suite bathroom.

As well as the hotel’s well-equipped gym, guests will have access to information regarding horse riding, private trainers and running routes.
